Golf Operations Manager at Regency at Monroe
Bob Kave, PGA, grew up in Allentown, PA and began playing golf at age 14. He received his first golf lessons from Jim Booros, who played on the PGA Tour for 12 years. At 18 he became the youngest to win the Allentown City Match Play Championship. After playing college golf at Barton College(formerly Atlantic Christian College) in Wilson, NC, Bob joined the PGA and has worked at Greenville CC(NC), Silver Creek CC(PA), Philmont CC(PA), and Forsgate CC. He has also been a Certified Personal Coach with GOLFTEC at their Moorestown, NJ location.
Bob is an active player in the New Jersey Section of the PGA and has played in three National PGA Professional Championships as well as having been awarded the Philadelphia PGA Most Improved Player Award in 1998. He was also awarded the 2003 Leon Sullivan, Jr. Award for his teaching of golf to a group of Philadelphia inner city youth, one of which went on to play college golf at Temple University.
Bob has been married to his wife, Gailmarie, for 34 years. They have twin children, Emilymarie, who is a Junior at Moravian University in Bethlehem, PA, and Alexander, who is a Junior at Ramapo University in Mahwah, NJ. Bob and Gailmarie have lived in Manasquan for 33 years.
